Recommendations from some of our clients

Inclusion have an established relationship with Mosaic having worked with them for many years. We are proud to work with Mosaic training as a provider of courses that are tailored and designed to provide our staff with the right skills and knowledge to develop their practice and enhance their skills. Mosaic trainers bring a diverse range of skills and experience to their courses which creates engaging and focused training, and an effective learning space for practitioners to work though specific case studies and challenges.

Chloe Candlin, Projects & Workforce Development Manager, Inclusion (Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust)

Mosaic are our main training providers. Stephen and his team deliver the majority of the training that we offer to our operational staff, the feedback we receive is always very positive, both from a training perspective and staff learning being an enjoyable experience. Mosaic review our policies to ensure the training covers exactly what we need and works within our values; it is a two way process which works exceptionally well. We have happily recommended Mosaic to similar organisations and will continue to do so.

Gill Steers, Training Co-ordinator, Transform Housing & Support

Whilst we have been using Mosaic to run in house training for us for some years, I have been here for just over 3 years and I have had good experience of them in the past.  We have continued to use Mosaic as they know the sector really well and their trainers are always extremely knowledgeable and we find that their training is always relevant.  We often talk to them about course content to meet our needs and they are very agreeable to those discussions and any tweaks we want to make.  Colleagues enjoy the courses and learn plenty from them.  We find Mosaic very responsive and their administration is very efficient. Overall we find them a professional, flexible and accommodating organisation to partner with providing good learning opportunities for our colleagues here at Transform.

Adele Duncan, Director of Client Services, Transform Housing & Support

Cranstoun have been working with Mosaic for many years. During this time, they have provided excellent training to our staff teams both in-house and through their Open Programme.

When delivering in-house training, Mosaic are able to tailor their content to meet any specific needs we have. We have always found them professional and approachable. All the feedback received from our staff is very positive both around content of the training and the skills and experience of the trainers.

They respond in a timely manner and provide excellent value for money. We would not hesitate in recommending Mosaic to other organisations.

Lisa Head, Central Services Manager, Cranstoun

I will put what I have learned on the course into practice by reviewing safeguarding referrals with the wider team to review language and awareness. Erica was a fantastic trainer, really engaging and enjoyable. Would like to attend more of her training in the future.

I will not assume I am up to date with all safeguarding legislations and will seek to include learning from today into team and 1:1 supervisions.

This will aid me while I support the staff. Erica was amazing at facilitating the training sessions. She was very approachable and open to any questions. She never spoke down to anyone and treated everyone with respect. She was great at giving the information across and used good techniques of giving information and checking in with questions. I would welcome attending training facilitated by her again! Thank you

The Richmond Fellowship have been working with Mosaic since 1999.

They have always provided, and continue to provide a high quality of training to our employees and are excellent at staying connected and communicating with us.

The response from Mosaic during the pandemic was outstanding and enabled us to continue to provide our employees with required training

Helen Robinson, Head of L&D, Recovery Focus

Absolutely, I will be able to use what I have learned on the course – I think it will become a key part of my practice. I have never used SBFT before but while doing the course I got a real light bulb moment of why didn’t I think of using questions in a solution focused way so to avoid entrenchment of problems. Great course. I learned a lot!  Thank you Stephen for all you time and knowledge over all the training I have done with you. I have always come away feeling like I’ve learned something valuable.

Learnt new strategies to use with young people. Had the opportunity to talk to others about a case I was struggling with and had support

Will use in supervisions to look at problem solving ‘sticky’ cases; use this way of working in training young people as part of our peer participation work and will continue to do so. It was enjoyable training and made good use of breakout rooms for us to think for ourselves, try things out, work through examples and work with others from other Compass Teams.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Compass, April 2023

Mosaic have been a consistent training provider for us over the past 4 years, providing excellent training on specialist subjects which have been integral in upskilling our staff. Mosaic’s training now forms part of our mandatory training for Mental Health due to the level of awareness and understanding the training provides. The sessions are delivered by talented, knowledgeable and engaging trainers, thank you to Stephen and all of the trainers!

Victoria Peck, Learning & Development Manager, Hightown

The 2 days of Professional Boundaries training which was recently delivered to our staff was extremely well received. We had a number of senior clinical leads on the course, all of whom felt their time was well spent, and the delivery was engaging and delivered by an extremely knowledgeable facilitator. I have engaged Mosaic for a number of years, and they have always provided first rate delivery and service. As a result of the most recent training, we are adding the course to our regular training calendar.

David Cankett, Deputy Head of Workforce (Learning and Development), Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability

Strongly agree that the content was clear and well-structured, and examples used were relevant to my role. Good refresher to remember being aware and mindful when liaising with customers. Erica was enthusiastic which made this training easy to follow.

I’ll be better able to support my team members to make appropriate and proportionate safeguarding referrals, remembering the principles of safeguarding and threshold. Erica created a safe space for everyone to get involved and share their opinions and experiences. The breakout sessions were meaningful exercises.

The information from the course will be utilised by myself in my conversations and visits with our customers, this will ensure that any issues that may be present can be assessed and actioned.

Safeguarding, and Safeguarding Champions, MOAT, Courses from October 2022 to February 2023

We’ve worked with Mosaic for many years and successfully trained hundreds of staff in key areas such as Motivational Interviewing which has clearly been embedded in our work as a result. We are currently focusing on support for Hoarding Behaviours and appreciate the time Stacey has taken to ensure the training reinforces our internal values, policies and procedures. The training is grounded evidence based approaches and concrete experience which ensures it maitains a practical bent. It’s handy to know Mosaic are there for all kinds of needs that might crop up given their extensive catalogue of courses and expertise.

Paul Wells, Head of Learning & Development, St Mungo’s

I feel more confident about the ‘tools’ and have had a chance to explore the techniques in practice.

Re-affirmed what I have been doing right and given good ideas / models for improvement.

I think the tutor knows her stuff and made this an enjoyable learning experience.

Motivational Interviewing, St Giles
