Supporting Clients with PTSD

In the United Kingdom, statistics indicate that approximately 1 in 10 individuals are projected to encounter Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during their lifetime. This accounts for an estimated 6,665,000 people in the UK who may develop PTSD or Complex PTSD (C-PTSD) at some stage in their lives. Despite its prevalence, PTSD remains significantly misunderstood, frequently misdiagnosed, and burdened by stigma.
