In our increasingly budget-driven and competitive market-place, cost-effective training and consultancy is at a premium.
Founded in 1996, our range of training programmes has expanded, in breadth and depth, to keep pace with changes in the housing with support, health, criminal justice and social care sectors. We operate UK-wide, providing in-house and open-programme courses using trainers who are predominantly current or recent practitioners in their fields.
On our In-House courses, we can deliver face-to-face or online. Depending on the topic being covered, courses last from one to three days. We train on your premises, or off-site, whichever suits your organisation and your budget best.
We also offer an Open Programme of courses for individuals to attend. These are currently delivered online, via Zoom. The topics they cover have been carefully selected to give staff attending a solid grounding in almost all aspects of supported housing, health, criminal justice and social care work.
Additionally we can provide Consultancy on the structure and management of organisations, departments and teams. Delivering services in this area is a very specialist task, one where established management consultancies have little experience or track record. Our consultants have worked both as managers and on the front-line in many different environments and can consequently be of maximum value when helping you plan a route to improved service delivery within constrained resources.
We’re entirely self-funded, receiving no grants or subsidies from private or public bodies. This lets us offer training and consultancy which concentrates solely on effectively communicating the background, issues and skills of the topic, with no responsibility to third parties to slant the course content. Being unsupported encourages us to run a slim, effective organisation, which means we are responsive and affordable.
