Complex Needs / Dual Diagnosis
Usual course length: 1-2 days
Courses can be tailor-made from the following elements:
- Considering the meaning of the term ‘dual diagnosis’ and its limitations
- Achieving a better understanding of the effects of substance use / misuse on mental health
- Gaining an awareness of the research related to complex needs, and its implications
- Best practice when working with people who have complex needs
- Increasing knowledge of available statutory services and how best to access them
