Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (for substance users)
Usual course length: 2 days
Courses can be tailor-made from the following elements:
- Clarifying what Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is (and what it is not)
- The relationship between our thought processes and how we are likely to feel and behave
- Challenging the core beliefs that may hold us back or help make us unhappy
- Using CBT techniques to promote, for example, better stress and anger management, and increased self-esteem
- Limits and boundaries: deciding when and how CBT can be safely applied to your client work
All our our Substance Use courses are mapped to the relevant DANOS Units.
