Working with Adolescents and Young People
Usual course length: 2 days

- Understanding attachment and other relevant emotional issues affecting young people
- How mental health and substance use issues impact on young clients' development
- Exploring other reasons for challenging behaviour and how to address them
- Your role as the Significant Adult working with young people – responsibilities and boundaries
- Statutory and non statutory entitlements and support for young people and how to access/maximise these
- Developing best practice through case studies and role-play.
