Usual course length: 1-2 days
Courses can be tailor-made from the following elements:
- Clarifying the role and purpose of the keyworker, the benefits of keywork, and the importance of care-planning
- Discussing why and how support is given in the way it is
- Clarifying the boundaries of confidentiality, e.g. dealing with disclosure
- Detailing the importance of outcome monitoring
- Assessing the implications of the Supporting People Quality Assessment Framework (QAF)
- Identifying good practice in recording keywork sessions
