March 2013 session

The March session is on Domestic Abuse. The session will be led by Clare Walker, an independent trainer and consultant specialising in this issue.

Clare will invite us to look at some of the entrenched beliefs that surround domestic abuse; how we can recognise it if it is not obvious or declared; and the ways we can begin to offer appropriate support or direct people towards it. She will talk about how elements of the Freedom Programme can be adapted for use in our work contexts.

The session will be held on 20 March at The Connection at St Martins, 12 Adelaide Street, WC2N 4HW, and will run from 2.30-4.30. The nearest Tube stations are Charing Cross and Leicester Square.

The sessions are free to attend but places are limited so you must request a place by emailing us at the address below.

Numbers of places allocated to any one organisation may be restricted to ensure the widest possible representation.

We hope you will be able to attend.
